I have to begin at the end.
I LOVED IT!!!
I took a course in UI design using SketchApp and I fell in love with the whole process.
I was a bit skeptical at the beginning. My husband introduced me to this new field called UX/UI design. For those of you that are making a face & asking yourselves, U what? (as I did) it is short for User Experience/User Interface design.

It is a very complex process, but it can be explained in a few words.
Of course, fun for one is not fun for the other. After all, it is only my perspective. On the other hand, I am glad that even though UX and UI are related and go hand in hand, they are two separate things. I could choose a career in UI design having very little knowledge about UX. Yay for me!

UI focus is on the visual side, cosmetics, and presentation, while UX gets deep into the user interaction with the product and their experience.
These are just a few samples screens
UI design is always evolving, but it feels amazing how much I've learned thanks to the availability of online courses, the great instructors, and the people that made this possible.

I sure will get my hands dirty in the UX design process (It's inevitable! I'm married to a UXer)
REFLECTIONS ABOUT THIS PROCESS
After creating this medium fidelity app prototype on the Sketch App, I do appreciate more than ever when interacting with applications, web, and any other type of design, physical product or digital. The amount of time, precision, and detail it takes to create a beautiful, well designed, functional app, webpage, or product is invaluable.
